🙌Boom! And there it is my feature & cover for Disrupt Magazine is now live. I’ve gotta be super real with you all here.... for me this means the world, and here’s why.....

The last time I made a cover I had spent a large portion of my life bending myself into what I thought I wanted, people wanted, an industry wanted, and what the media wanted. (Also I didn’t eat carbs 🤣 god I laugh looking back now)

I hit a hard reset quite a few years back when I realised I was far from on my path, and in short took a risk on me, to just be me, speak the message what I wanted to speak, and live how I wanted to.

Which falls so well with this feature, on knowing the difference between leading and listening to intuition over ego.

So I’m honoured for a multitude of reasons:
1- To even be considered and recognised to be featured in here
2- To be next to people I’ve looked up to and effectively mentored from a distance from for years
3- To know this time, I am there with a big smile and I’m here and ON MY PATH

Something I learned when I went through the process of building myself back up, and changing how I lived was that at the end of the day it really is novelty and experience that are the real drivers that lead to pleasure, happiness and fulfilment.

Simply put - Try new things & experience all that you can.

It has an amazing way of showing you parts of yourself you never knew existed.

🙌One of the worst things to do when stressed is to make a big decision, or take a big action as you’re away from logical thinking and deep into the emotion. Remember to breathe, step away from the situation, take your time, think about what’s really creating that reaction and ask:
- Why do I feel this way?
- What meaning am I giving to this situation?
- Is this within my control, and can I directly impact, influence it?
- What’s the best way to move forwards?

One of the greatest weapons against stress is the ability to be able to come back, and chose your thoughts one after the other.

Agree? Drop a ❤️❤️ : Communication and depth of connection go hand in hand, becoming a better communicator allows you to go so much deeper with people. Little things like listening to understand, instead of listening to just reply, or expressing yourself fully and honestly even if your voice shakes a little, can amplify and deepen all relationships across the board.

💯 When something isn’t right for you, your energy will start to reject it and alert you in a multitude of different ways. Pay extremely close attention to the feelings, and what emotions come up, they in their own way are signals. If it doesn’t feel right..... let it go.‬

I always like to think of it this way, your thoughts are the language of the mind, your emotions are the language of the body, and your intuition is the language of your soul.

The key thing to remember is that when someone say

“That’s a stupid idea”
“No one will like that”
“You’ll fail”
“What will you do if.......”
Etc.....

They are speaking through and projecting their limitations, and NOT YOURS! So smile, and do what you were going to do anyway. 😉
